Dear Ken,
When I received Volume Two of "Ken Fernald Sings", I could not believe the
selection of songs that 'long' have been some of my very favorites. But MORE
special is that you are singing them. It has now been almost 14 years since I
met you at Rumney ---- I have loved you and your music since that day. When I
listened to the first song, "The Highest Praise", I stopped and looked at my
CD player and said to myself, "Ken has never been better than this!" --- what
a blessing you are to so many! Often I tell you that there may be the
'stars' out there with Southern Gospel, but not one has touched so many of us here
in 'cold' New England as has New England's own gospel singer, Ken Fernald. My
family and I count you as friend and brother --for ALL you have meant to us
over the years! Thank you --- may He "Keep you Singing"---

I had a very enjoyable time singing with you this morning on the way to work! Every time I listen to your CDs it brings back memories of the " old" days...did I say "old?" It has been 23 years since we first met, and 17 years since I first traveled with you to help set up your equipment - "Wow" how time flies! I have so much appreciated your friendship through the years. The other day we (the family) were going
on a little trip - before we left the driveway Charity (5) asked if she could pray. I realized that we had made it a habit to stop and pray before we went on a trip and now my kids expect it. You prayed every
time we left for a concert and that became a habit in my life - thank you!!!

Dear Ken,
Your message and music will be a blessing forever, til Jesus takes you home. As we get older, we wonder how we can continue to serve, and you are unique in your service, as compared to most of us. It has to be so difficult to lift and tug and pull. When you see the joy, the tears, the smiles, the humbled heart, the hard heart begin to soften, it must make it worthwhile. You have been so instrumental in our lives, knowing the Lord. You have shown us that a bit of humor is NOT bad. To listen to the music, see the Lord's face, picture the music lyrics in our minds, and what they mean to us is what you preach to us. How to love the Lord with all our heart is what you teach, and soothing a broken soul, binding up the wounds and moving on in Him is what you sing.
Sorry, I am feeling a bit 'mushy' this am, but some days I need to tell people how they affect my life and how much they mean to me.
I pray you had a blessed weekend, and if even only one soul was lifted by your music message, Praise the Lord.!

Favorite song: It Matters to Him About you.

Comments: I worked at the Good News Book store in Somersworth when you came to sing. I've loved and enjoyed your music for years- been to many concerts. You even offered to sing a song with my son Jason years ago and Jason refused. Too scared I guess. Is it possible to get the words and or music to It Matters to Him about you? My husband passed away in April after a very short illness and yesterday I was having a very bad day and lo and behold you were singing this song on the radio and how It blessed me...to think that God hasn't forgotten me and still loves me. God Bless

Even though I was only able to speak to you for a moment after the program was over Monday night, I want to tell you again what a great job you did. I saw more interested and appreciative faces in the room of 120 men during your singing than I have seen in many a month. Your singing brought all of us closer to God and I am thrilled that you were able to be with us.

Dear Ken:

My wife and I want to thank you for the gift of one of your tapes when we
attended your concert at First Baptist Church in Concord, NH on Jan. 17.
My wife, if you remember, is the one who had her pocketbook stolen while
we were eating in a restaurant.

We thoroughly enjoy the tape, especially the song, "Don't Go To Heaven
Alone." We first heard that song while working at a church in Jamaica
several years ago, and this was the first time we've heard it since then.
In fact your tape is playing at this moment.

I found your web site on my computer, so decided to contact you and thank
you for not only the tape, but your ministry as well. In spite of the
circumstances of losing the pocketbook, we enjoyed the music and look
forward to your next appearance at First Baptist.

Our best regards and prayers for your continued ministry.

My mom passed away peacefully to be with the Lord Sept. 29. Emma Sharon is my sister and on Ken's Board of Directors. Ken received a call and unhesitatingly said he would sing at my mom's funeral. He sang wonderfully! We can't thank Ken enough for being there for us. I know my brothers who had never heard you sing were touched as were so many there. Thanks again Ken for easing our loss and may you continue to have a fruitful ministry for our Lord.

Praise the Lord! My dear friend Alison! You have done a wonderful job on my new ministry website. I know you were able to get some ideas from the free site that Riki Nielsen did for us! I thank him for all his help too! I want to encourage all that visit this site to share your thoughts about this new website or this ministry.
Thank you,
Ken

Webmaster's Reply:
It has been a tremendous opportunity and pleasure to help Ken create a new website. The real foundation work has been laid by Riki Nielsen and he has done a fantastic job. Also, Ken has turned out to be the most involved and thorough person I've ever worked with. (He thinks he is "picky" but, I regard him as creative and responsive.) Ken wants this site to be fun for his fans, so write often and tell us what you want to see!
